The private museum of the Baikal minerals opened in Listvjanka.

Race on ice floes have taken place on April, 1, 2006 in a source of the river Angara. This action has been devoted to Day of the fool and finished the project Baikal Meridian-105, taking place in frameworks of Zimniada-2006 festival. Two teams - Baikal Meridian-105 (the captain - Konstantin Mamadzhanov) and Baikal Penguins (the captain - Alexey Sadovsky) competed.

Ice castle in length 14 and width of 12 meters was built in the middle of Baikal in 16 kilometers from Listvjanka. It is main post of "Zimniada-2006" festival. The construction is a polygon decorated on corners towers with orthodox domes. The ice base is built in a point located on 105-th meridian of globe. The 105-th meridian connects cape Chelyuskin (Taimyr peninsula) and Russian polar station "East" (Antarctica).
